Gym time

So Recently I have made some new friends. Among them A new gym partner! His name is Tony. Tony, James and I are starting a new workout routine. Starting at 5am we do 30 minuets of cardio and then we move on to lifting for two particular muscle groups, each group getting two workouts a week.

Today was the first day of this craziness and it was pretty awesome. We ran/biked around 5 miles. Then started off with our "Limbs" Workout consisting of arms and legs. It was an awesome work out and I feel great! We discovered that we also will have time for a good stretching session before or after workouts with the time it took us today.

Oh and did I mention we are doing this six times a week! This will be awesome! Prepare for a new Ben by Christmas.

Writing Jobs

As I am developing my blogs and learning a lot about my self and my writing style, I am looking for some low key writing jobs on web-based publications. This is pretty exciting! I really want to showcase some of my bigger projects like my upcoming band interview, my book reviews, and my copy writing pieces.

I am very hopeful as I amm searching. Soon I know I will find someone who is intrested enough in my work that they want to see what I can do. I can't wait for that day, but until then I'm going to bust my butt doing the grunt work and push and never stop asserting myself.

One of these days never comes to those who wait. It comes to those that are willing to work.If you start from the bottom,  your never going to be the CEO if you don't know how the mail room works.

Being A Good Friend

Some times you need to go to your friends house at 1 in the morning to hear her rant about the men in her life for hours.

Wrong Number

So I wake up this morning to a text. I don't know the number but I knew the area code. I played along. I have lost a lot of my numbers anyway (to a toilet) so I thought it was one of my friends. So as I was making small talk, I slipped in some prying questions like where do you work again? After a few questions like that I realized that I had no idea who this guy was! I had no idea who he thought I was. So I asked a really stupid question. "How do you spell your last name again?" He replied back with the answer which was super simple like Jones. So A quick search on Facebook, matching the last name and work place, I found him in like 10 seconds. It was almost disappointingly easy! Anyways no I had some stuff to work with. I had his first name, where he worked, who he was dating. It was like buying a get someone to trust you pack. So i asked some more questions about his girlfriend and how they are doing.

He just kept going on and on like I was his best friend. After about ten minuets of this, I got bored, and told him he is texting a random stranger. All he said was probably. What does that even mean? People are so freaking weird!

The point is I had fun feeling like a detective and it was fun. I have been watching to many cop shows. Prison Break, The Beast, The Unusuals. That's a lot of cop shows. Well I just thought I would share that little gem of deception with everyone.

G'day

Work!

Work can be a pain. When I work with one of my managers I always get sent home early. She puts me on stations I'm not trained on and then wonders why I'm not The Flash.....uggg. So today I got sent home early...big surprise, but it was OK because I was up until 6am last night working on blogs.

Anyways my roommate James and I were bored so we went to my friends house and ending up having some fun just hanging out. I earned the nick name Ben20 and some guy got shot in the face with Nerf darts over and over. It was funny because you could tell he really likes my friend...so he was willing to get shot in the face. If you talk to her for 20 seconds you know that's not what she wants in a man.

Oh there is a guy named Josh who was over there again. This time we got along a lot better because it was a more lax setting. He reminds me of my cousin Vince! I miss that guy!

Anyways this has became a pointless rant so it's time to end it.

Night!

Another Day

Today is a bit slow, but I like it that way sometimes. I work later on tonight and I have until 5 to have some fun! James,my roommate, and I might go do something. Maybe I will clean the house. I could go for a run.  I could take a nap. Days like this are nice sometimes. If it wasn't for my blogs they would happen more often, but I like my blogs.

I have really been wanting to build something. That set of power tools I have been looking at on craigslist is oh so tempting. I have no idea what I would even build. I just want to build something. Like a table or some sub boxes or something. I don't even have subs!

I had Pizza for lunch and just talked to my friends from Gateway Getaway and I'll be doing an interview with them on my Called Out! blog when we can work out a time. I'm excited because it will be my first interview! They are getting pretty big too so it will be nice for both of us! Can't wait!

Well I have to work soon. Day jobs! (rolls eyes)

A busy day.

Today started out slow, but it didn't end that way. I wrote some new posts on my other blog until I went to Family Home Evening or FHE. FHE was  pretty fun! We went to the park and played sardines. There is nothing more fun then playing in a park with a bunch of 20+ year olds. The moms didn't know what to think.

At FHE I was talking to my friend Rachael. She is in a comedy club and I told her I have been trying to get better at comedic writing. So one thing lead to another and now I'm a part of the club! I am excited! This is something I have always been interested in! I will be learning from experienced stand up comedians!

My recent choice to become a writer has been going so well. I have been writing on my blog every day and now I'm getting involved in things that will help me learn more! I even heard you can volunteer for the SUU News Paper! I really want to do this!

Life is becoming something amazing again. I realized I had been neglecting myself to the point where I was completely miserable, but now I know what I want to do and I'm doing what it takes to get there!
